foo:

If it is good enough to Fedora, it is good enough to me.

Jon:
If is fine that dell delivers laptops with Ubuntu, but i have no use for it, i want a laptop with a clean harddrive, so i can do my own installation of Fedora. i Agree that the Thinkpad are really cool, i have a T60 for work, but they are to pricey and they have M$ tax on :)

The blobs are firmware and thus fall under Fedora's firmware exception.

Which wireless does it have? Intel's wireless all require non-free binary blobs.

I'd usually recommend a Thinkpad with integrated graphics but this is pricey and Lenovo don't have a good reputation with reimbursing people for the copy of Windows they don't want.

I'd say your best bet is the Ubuntu equipped Dell laptops that have your choice of exterior colour.
